Sterile processing · survey readiness

We find what surveyors find — before they do.

FIND assesses hospital and ASC sterile processing departments against AAMI ST79 and Joint Commission standards, then delivers a scored readiness report with a corrective action plan your team can run.

01 · The problem

Surveys find SPD gaps late — when the fix is expensive.

A missing eyewash station, an unverified sterilizer load, a tray wrapped in the wrong room. Each is a small finding on a surveyor's clipboard and a large one on a corrective action timeline you did not choose.

Most outside reviews stop at the list. They tell you what is wrong, not who fixes it, in what order, or how you will know it stayed fixed. FIND's report ends with a plan.

55%

of condition-level survey findings stem from sterilization or high-level disinfection errors.

03 · How it works

From walk-through to reassessment.

  1. Step 1

    On-site walk-through

One to two days in your department, every area, with the technicians on shift.

  2. Step 2

    Scored readiness dashboard

Every question answered in one of four states, rolled up by area and overall.

  3. Step 3

    30/60/90-day action plan

Each gap with the standard, the fix, an owner and a due window.

  4. Step 4

    Follow-up reassessment

We return, re-score, and sign off what closed. Open items carry forward.

05 · What sets FIND apart

  • Experience

    Technician to clinical director

We have run the sinks, the sterilizers and the department. We know where findings hide because we have fixed them.

  • Audience

Written for the floor and the boardroom

Recommendations the people doing the work can follow, and the leaders accountable for it can fund.

  • Method

Compliance tied to how work happens

Findings connect to workflow, ergonomics, staffing and implementation — not a checkbox in isolation.

  • Specialty

    Orthopedic and ophthalmology services

Loaner trays, lumened instruments and microsurgical sets each bring their own survey risk. We have processed them.
